Primary school teacher

Chulkova Ulyana Alexandrovna

Target:to form in children an idea of the volunteer movement, its main directions at different times, and its significance in the life of society.

Tasks:

Basic concepts of volunteering;

· consider the history of the development of volunteer activities;

· determine the types of volunteer and socially useful activities;

· to develop in children respect for universal moral values;

· promote the creation of conditions for the development in children of motivation to perform kind and humane deeds;

Progress of the conversation

Teacher: Good afternoon, children. The topic of our conversation today is “Who are volunteers?”

At the beginning of the conversation, I want to know if you know who volunteers are? (Some of the children's answers are filmed)

Volunteer(from Latin voluntarius - voluntary)

1. A volunteer is a person who voluntarily engages in free socially useful activities at his own expense.

2. Volunteer is a person who voluntarily entered military service.

Volunteering or volunteer activities(from Latin voluntarius - voluntary) is a wide range of activities, including traditional forms of mutual aid and self-help, formal provision of services and other forms of civic participation, which are carried out voluntarily for the benefit of the general public without reliance on monetary reward. Volunteers, from the point of view of the law of the Russian Federation, are individuals who carry out volunteer activities in the form of gratuitous work or provision of services (volunteer activities).

Now you have heard many terms, some are familiar to you, but perhaps there are some among them whose meaning is not entirely clear to you. Let's try to find out what is meant by these terms. O. Dahl's dictionary says that charity - these are charitable activities, actions and deeds, free of charge and aimed at public benefit, at providing material assistance to poor people. Who can be called a philanthropist? A philanthropist is someone who does charity.

The activities of charitable organizations require the support of volunteers. To organize volunteer activities, on the one hand, volunteer vacancies are created in charitable organizations, on the other hand, a circle of supporting organizations and the volunteer corps of charitable participants who agree to take part in free labor for the benefit of those in need are formed.

The concept of voluntary (volunteer) activity in the Russian language is often replaced by the concept of “social activity”, which denotes any useful activity for the benefit of society. Volunteer activities are aimed primarily at helping those in dire need of the population who do not have the opportunity to help themselves (old age, homelessness, disability, natural disasters, social cataclysms).

Story

Initially, only volunteer soldiers were called volunteers. In Italy, France, England and Germany, during the Eighty and Thirty Years' Wars, various overlords called upon more and more hunters to fight under their banners, but, often no longer having money to maintain troops, they stipulated that their reward would be only glory and spoils of war. For many this was enough.

However, by the mid-2000s, a demand for this type of activity had clearly emerged in the country. The first volunteer associations began to appear. Some of them were able to earn some social capital and reach a new level of organization - regional or even federal. The number of participants in various volunteer projects is gradually increasing. Since 2010, the government has officially announced support for volunteer projects.

In November 2017, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Volunteer Day was established - December 5.

Volunteer (voluntary) activities:

· volunteer activities aimed at protecting human and civil rights and freedoms, protecting the rights of socially vulnerable groups of citizens;

· planting flowers, flower beds, lawns, bushes and trees;

· assistance to such social categories of citizens as: the elderly, street children, youth and students, the homeless, people with disabilities (disabled people), migrants, refugees, former prisoners and others;

· improvement and arrangement of courtyards, plots, city streets;

· helping animals, voluntary assistance to zoos and nature reserves;

· educational conversations aimed at preventing drug addiction, smoking, alcoholism, AIDS, and juvenile delinquency;

· charity concerts and theatrical performances;

· environmental marches, cleaning up garbage and water pollution;

· promotion of healthy lifestyles;

· Internet volunteering;

· work in technical support;

· assistance to rescuers, doctors, etc., for example: participation in combing the area in search of a lost person, surveying the population, etc.

· assistance in organizing major concerts and festivals of various kinds;

· distribution of educational literature aimed at improving the quality of life of a person and his environment

· human rights work in the field of psychiatry (Citizens Commission on Human Rights)

Volunteer work is not paid, but organizers of work on a voluntary basis can pay volunteers for travel, accommodation, food, the purchase of personal protective equipment and insurance premiums for voluntary health insurance, which are not taxed. Volunteers are not only altruists; they can work to gain experience, special skills and knowledge, and establish personal contacts. Volunteer work is often a path to paid work; there is always an opportunity to show and prove yourself from the best side, try yourself in different fields of activity and decide on your choice of life path.

As a class, decide how we can help people.

And bring the answers to the point that we can give smiles to passers-by - draw advertisements in the form:

Has it been a long time since anyone gave you flowers?

Choose any one.

You are a happy person!

Sweetie for you!

Don't forget some candy on the way.

The flower is a seven-colored flower. Take it off and make a wish!

Don't hold a grudge. Hold the ball.

Are you on a diet to lose weight for the summer? Help yourself!......

At the end of the class hour, a video is also shot, answering the same question - Who are volunteers?

Who is the poem talking about?

We are talking about volunteers. Volunteers, the volunteer movement is the topic of our class hour.

In different parts of the world there is a tradition to devote a year to some important event or phenomenon. Russia did not stand aside on this issue; this practice has taken root here and is becoming increasingly popular and significant. The past year was declared the Year of Ecology, and 2018 was declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin as the Year of Volunteers and Volunteers. “This will be your year, the year of all citizens of the country, whose will, energy, generosity is the main strength of Russia,” Putin said, speaking at the Volunteer of Russia award ceremony. The President of the Russian Federation noted that “such examples of civic participation and solidarity are becoming more and more numerous every year.”

In Russia, about seven million people are involved in the volunteer movement, and they enjoy respect and support in society.

According to surveys, two-thirds of the population of our country are ready to help a stranger in trouble.

Who are called volunteers?

Translated from French, “volunteer” means “volunteer”. Representatives of the volunteer movement sincerely believe that performing significant public works and providing assistance to those in need should not be done for the sake of material interest, but completely disinterestedly. In fact, a volunteer is a person who performs socially significant work for free. The reward for the work of volunteers is the appreciation and gratitude of people.

Features of the volunteer movement in Russia

The volunteer movement is based on a principle as old as the world: if you want to feel like a human being, help someone else.

In Russia, the volunteer movement began to emerge in the late 80s, although if you look into history, it should be recognized that it has always existed, for example, in the form of the sisters of mercy service, the Timurov and pioneer movements, various societies for the protection of nature and monuments. However, the volunteer movement has received modern development due to the growing number of social problems, in solving which, given the current economic situation, volunteers are indispensable.

Volunteers are people who create shelters for homeless animals, help the elderly in hospitals and hospices, and are ready to search for missing people for days. “Victory” volunteers take care of veterans and look after monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. They call themselves one big volunteer family, because they are united by a common goal - to bring good to people.

Volunteers work in hospitals and social institutions, help find missing people, provide all possible assistance to victims of natural disasters, preserve nature and our cultural monuments, our culture, restore the names of fallen soldiers, and help in holding major international events. There are more and more such examples of civic participation and solidarity every year!

Caring for one's neighbor, mercy, readiness to come to the aid of the whole world, to serve the Fatherland - in the soul, in the character, in the culture of our people.

In the Russian Federation, volunteers (unlike the pioneer and Komsomol organizations that once existed) are not united and do not have a single state or non-state support. It is possible to talk about the volunteer movement as a phenomenon only if we take into account that all volunteers are guided in their activities by one common principle - to help people.

Volunteer movement as a form of social assistance

Volunteers provide active assistance to those segments of the population that are most in need of participation and social care. Volunteers can often be found in social welfare services and nursing homes. Volunteer activities also include institutions for people with disabilities and orphanages. Volunteers are involved in collecting things for those who found themselves in a natural disaster zone or suffered after a fire.

This cannot be said that in absolutely all cases the work of volunteers is not paid. But most often, volunteers work in exchange for acquiring experience, knowledge and skills, and establishing useful personal contacts. For young people, volunteering often becomes the first step towards professional growth and a way to make an informed choice of the future area of their main activity.

The volunteer movement trains personnel for public and non-governmental organizations. Volunteers have invaluable experience in social interaction and often have a better grasp of the situation in their chosen field of activity than any government officials. Working as a volunteer contributes to the formation of leaders who are ready to take part in the activities of government and public structures responsible for work in the social sphere.

Volunteering at school

Adults want to see teenagers as kind, sympathetic, sincere people. But these qualities do not arise on their own. They need to be formed and developed. In this important process, the volunteer movement provides invaluable assistance in the school country. The older generation is closer to the word “volunteering,” while the younger generation liked “volunteering.” Why argue? Volunteers or volunteers are people who give their time and energy free of charge for the benefit of other people. And teenagers have a need to do something together, and not just do it, but do good deeds.

What does a teenager experience when he helps someone? Joy, satisfaction, a sense of self-worth and usefulness?

Maybe. But the main thing is that they give a piece of their soul to another person.

Let us formulate the commandments of volunteers:

· find someone who needs your support, help, protect him;

· reveal yourself in any activity that is useful for others and yourself;

· remember that your strength and your value are in your health;

· evaluate yourself and your comrades not by words, but by real relationships and actions.

Conclusion:

In many countries around the world there are volunteer movements, and volunteers are considered important and respected people. The development of volunteering shows the conscious desire of people to take an active part in the global process - the development of civil society.

For each individual volunteer, volunteering represents an opportunity for personal development and the realization of such needs as:

Internal psychological need to be needed;

Need for communication and respect;

Development of leadership abilities;

Protecting your rights and interests;

The opportunity to live an interesting and vibrant life;

The need for self-realization;

Need for professional experience, etc.

That is why today the institution of volunteering is widespread in almost all countries of the world and is becoming every day an increasingly significant resource for the development of society.

Hello.
In our fast-paced times, people don’t often think about other people; it seems like everyone has enough of their own to do and problems. To draw the children's attention to this problem, we held a class hour.
I would like to present to your attention a class hour that took place this week. Class topic “Whoever helps people has his wishes come true.” Prepared and conducted a class hour Zotkina Lisa.

There are, as always, not enough good people...
There are, as always, not enough good people,
There is, as always, a shortage of kind people.
Kind people are not always understood
The hearts of the kind hurt more.
Kind people generously help the sick,
Kind ones - they give warmth and comfort,
The good ones walk in step with the weak ones
And no thanks are expected.
(Genrikh Akulov)

This is what Lisa was talking about. I provide the detailed text.

We live in strange times when many of us tend to think only about ourselves and our well-being. The general pursuit of maximum comfort and all kinds of pleasures leads to the fact that the souls of many become callous. We easily pass by the grief of others, not paying attention to the weak and needy, we try to protect ourselves from any negativity, forgetting that life is fleeting and often cruel.

Compassion for one's neighbor and a willingness to come to the aid of one's own kind are necessary conditions for the survival of society.Help is a unique way of communication between people, sometimes with kind words, sometimes with deeds or actions. Therefore, the question of how to help people is very relevant. If you look around, you can see how many of our fellow citizens need support and immediate help. Children, old people, and disabled people are the weakest and most defenseless categories of the population.

Help for the elderly.

In our country, the most socially vulnerable people remain the elderly - especially the lonely, frail, and seriously ill. Traditionally, assistance for the elderly is provided on the eve of May 9 - and after that people are forgotten about again for almost a year.

We cannot turn a blind eye to the problems of older people. They lived their lives for the sake of future generations, and deserved our respect, support and real help. Anyone can help the elderly. Here are some practical steps to do this:

Look around: perhaps there is a lonely sick person living next door to you, who from time to time needs to replenish food supplies and buy medicine at the pharmacy, but it is difficult for him to do this himself. Not all older people have relatives either. So old men and women hobble through the ice to the store and pharmacy, risking falling and breaking their arm or leg. And if such a person gets sick, he often finds himself in a disastrous and helpless situation. Anyone can help the elderly. Take a closer look at your neighbors: which of them needs your support?

Here are some practical steps for this: for example, if correspondence has not been removed from a certain mailbox for a long time, and you know that a lonely elderly person or disabled person lives in this apartment, ring his doorbell and ask what happened and why he doesn’t leave the house for a long time, just talk like a human being, tell him something good, share his joy. Or take a walk with an elderly person, give him a tour, take him to an event (concert, cinema, play), help him buy the necessary medicines, you can also help with repairs or cleaning, give him a gift for the holiday, and be sure to include beautiful postcards or children’s drawings with the gift.

Who is a volunteer

A volunteer is a person who is willing to voluntarily spend a part of himself and his time for the benefit of society as a whole or a specific person. Sometimes people confuse the concepts a little and call those who did not receive payment for any work performed a volunteer. This is wrong, because... The goal of a volunteer is not to work for free, but to benefit society and the people around him, to make the world a better place. However, gratuitousness is one of the basic principles of the volunteer movement, but it is not an end in itself.

A real volunteer should try to be an example of morality, selflessness, be able to cooperate and work with a variety of colleagues and segments of the population.

Volunteer help is always needed in nursing homes and boarding schools for the disabled. We cannot turn a blind eye to the problems of older people. They lived their lives for the sake of future generations, and deserved our respect, support and real help. We are all different. And a person with a kind heart who can come to the aid of someone in need can become a volunteer.

Help for orphans.

We are accustomed to the fact that most of us and our friends have parents, and the problem of abandoned children seems so far from us. But if you think about it, you realize that quite a large number of children, for one reason or another, were left without parental care. As was said earlier, orphanages are the first thing that comes to mind when you think about how to help people. And yet there is always a lack of help there. After all, there are a lot of children who, by the will of fate, find themselves in the care of the state, and each of them requires care, affection, and attention.

In these places live people who are always happy when something new comes into their lives: a new person, a new story, a new hope. After all, children in orphanages are most happy not with gifts or things, but with the people themselves who visited them. You can make a game for children, delight them with a story or fairy tale. Are they getting all this in the proper quantities? Of course not! Sponsors can send toys, arrange a children's party, but the child needs constant attention.

The question then arises: how to help orphans?
1. Assistance in the social adaptation of children in orphanages. All boys and girls should have a person who is ready to devote at least a few hours a week to him: showing him the world, communicating, providing spiritual and material support.
2.Assistance in treatment. Volunteers help children receive highly qualified treatment; for this they negotiate with medical institutions. During treatment, they do not leave children alone, providing all possible support and helping in rehabilitation.
3. Help in finding adoptive parents. Such work takes a lot of time and effort from volunteers, because searches are carried out not only in the region.

To do this, it is necessary to conclude an agreement to post information about the orphan on a special website. Next, a photo shoot is held, the information is published in various media, attracting maximum attention.

Having visited an orphanage at least once, you will understand how important your words, attention, and kindness are to children! Such moments fill life with meaning.

Caring for our little brothers, helping animals.

I believe that there are a lot of good hearts, but not everyone has the opportunity to pick them up, warm them and give them shelter. And then you walk down the street - you see the eyes of a dog or kitten - and your heart just bleeds. But it seems like you can’t do anything... In fact, you can! And a lot! I'll give you a hint now...

The most important thing for homeless people is water. Especially in winter and summer. Such a simple and costless liquid is a salvation for them at this time. In the heat, they are ready to walk many kilometers to find at least some puddle. It costs nothing to cut off a five-liter bottle and place the resulting bowl under the dripping air conditioner. An unnecessary pan or cup will also work. Next is food. Experts do not recommend adding dry food if there is no water nearby. This is dangerous and likely to cause harm

for the animal than the benefit. Dry food is a travel option in any weather that won’t go to waste and won’t stink in your bag. But you can go further (or closer) if you want. Closer is simply not throwing bones and bread from the table into a bucket. Place in a separate bag. On the way to school or just taking out the trash, you will meet a lot of people who want to finish it.

In addition to food and water, you can help by building a shelter. In cold weather, it is very important to get into the warmth at least for a short time in order to warm up. If you are not indifferent, you can notice how yesterday's puppies and kittens are shaking in the snow in the open air. Using any available means, you can put together a small box and put it in a shelter - it will definitely find its owner, feel free to set up shelters for the winter, at least under balconies.
Shelters for homeless animals also need our help. How can we help the shelter residents? For example:
- bring food for the animals;
- walking animals on a specially equipped area or on a leash (feeding, cleaning);
- care (combing, trimming nails, medical examination, etc.);

Communication, getting used to people, is the most enjoyable part of the job!

When do people begin to think about the question: what is most important in my life - good or evil? By what principles should I live my life? What beliefs should you rely on to feel happy and satisfied with life?

Basically, everything is laid down in us in childhood. And it's not even about what we hear

from parents and teachers - children learn from the personal example of adults. When we or our loved ones get into trouble and receive completely selfless help, then we think and understand how valuable kindness is compared to other human factors. By doing good, a person receives some kind of inner joy, pleasure from it.

A poem about kindness.
This word is serious
The main thing is important.
What does it mean
Very necessary for everyone.
It contains care and affection,
Warmth and love.
There is aspiration in him
Come to the rescue
Again and again.
This is quality
Lives in the hearts of many
And about the pain of others
Doesn't let you forget.
And it's more important
Than facial beauty.
Guess what it is
Hearts of KINDNESS.

Flower of Kindness

Friends, what qualities do you think a kind person should have? Let's all together make our flower of kindness bloom with bright colors.

To do this, we need to name each petal one of the qualities of a good person. Guess these qualities from the description:
  • A feeling of heartfelt affection for people, the Motherland (love).
  • Kind, gentle in character, gentle (good nature).
  • Restraint in revealing one's merits, merits, non-boastfulness (modesty).
  • Affectionate, showing love (tenderness).
  • Willingness to help someone in difficult times (mercy).
  • Pity, sympathy caused by someone's misfortune (compassion).
  • Love of work (hard work).
I’ll start, and you finish, answer in unison.
1. Even a block of ice will melt from a warm word......thank you
2. The old stump will turn green when it hears.......good afternoon
3. When you are scolded for pranks, you say......excuse me, please
4. If a friend is in trouble...... help him
5. Resolve disputes with words, not..... with fists
6. If someone helps you in word or deed, do not hesitate to speak loudly and boldly..... thank you
7. If we can’t eat anymore, we’ll tell mom.....thank you
8. If the sun sets and the trees turn golden, then when we meet everyone we know..... good evening
9. The boy, polite and developed, says when meeting....hello

Many of us have younger brothers and sisters and we remember how difficult it can be to feed them porridge. Now for a moment we will turn into dads and moms. Task: to feed your “capricious” baby, not scolding, but persuading him.

Note: Sasha turned out to be a super dad. He spoke kind words, and so affectionately and kindly, and his spoon was either an airplane or a typewriter, and he fed the “daughter” for dad and mom. Well, it was such a touching thing to watch! Well done, Sasha!

And at the end Lisa read the following verses:

Nikolai Zabolotsky “Old Age”

Simple, quiet, gray-haired,
They have golden leaves
They look, walking until dark.

Their speech is already laconic,
Every look is clear without words,
But their souls are bright and even
They talk about a lot.

In the vague darkness of existence
Their destiny was inconspicuous,
And the life-giving light of suffering
It burned slowly above them.

Exhausted like cripples,
Under the weight of your weaknesses,
Into one forever
Their living souls merged.

And knowledge is a small particle
Revealed to them in their declining years,
That our happiness is just a flash of lightning,
Only a distant faint light.

It flashes upon us so rarely,
This takes work!
It fades so quickly
And disappears forever!

No matter how you cherish it in your palms
And no matter how you press it to your chest, -
Child of the dawn, on light horses
It will rush off to a distant land!

Simple, quiet, gray-haired,
He is with a stick, she is with an umbrella, -
They have golden leaves
They look, walking until dark.

Now it’s probably easier for them,
Now everything terrible is gone,
And only their souls are like candles,
The last warmth is flowing.

Thanks to Lisa and her family for preparing and hosting the class!

Good morning, guys! 1Today I will conduct a class hour on the topic “Volunteering or goodness.” If people do not learn to help each other, then the human race will disappear from the face of the earth. So said the world famous British writer Walter Scott. 2 Let's start the class hour by watching a story about the work of the Volunteer Recruiting Center. (video film playing) 3 Guys! Not everyone knows who volunteers are.

(Student speeches) If you look in the dictionaries, a volunteer is a person who participates (absolutely free of charge) in various socially significant campaigns: disseminating necessary information, preparing and conducting public events. A volunteer is a person who, working for free, strives to contribute to the implementation of socially significant projects. Volunteering is an opportunity for a person to gain social experience and receive recommendations for further advancement and career growth. Guys, do you need volunteers? How do you think? A volunteer is a necessary person. Experts say: the future lies with the volunteer movement. Volunteering allows a person, without “breaking” his life, to supplement it with a very significant part and realize a sense of personal civic responsibility for what is happening. 4 Why do people become volunteers? (The students name the reasons.) Yes, guys, the reasons can be different, and here are the main ones: The most important thing is the IDEA, a noble idea that reflects the importance and principles of activity. It is the idea that determines whether a person will understand what he is doing and why, whether he will have pride, self-esteem and satisfaction from his work and performance results. Internal psychological need to be needed. The volunteer movement allows you to realize this need and feel your usefulness. Need for communication. If a cool, cheerful company is selected and it’s interesting and comfortable, then you want to be around. The circle of contacts is expanding. This is often the main reason for working as a volunteer. Interest. Volunteer work is often associated with non-standard approaches and new opportunities.

Resource opportunities. By working as volunteers, people become the owners of related benefits - trips, interesting books and films, new connections, Internet resources, computers, etc. Conclusion: This is why people become volunteers. 5 Guys! What can you say about the volunteers in our area? Our school? What kind of business do they do? Who can you call active volunteers? Maybe there are volunteers in your class? Let's listen to a short report. The song “Timurovtsy” plays for 5 seconds - loudly, then slowly... Of course not. During my school years, I myself was the right hand of my class teacher, an exemplary student, an active pioneer, a devoted secretary of the Komsomol organization, and organized all events not only for the class, but also for the school. At that time our life was just as busy!!! If you knew how we were accepted as pioneers? How did we join the Komsomol?? How did the Timurites work? And we had one goal - to do good to people, not to offend younger people, to help elderly, helpless people. And it’s still in my blood. I see someone getting into trouble, so I go to help, an old woman comes with a heavy bag - I help carry it, sometimes even they are surprised by this?! This is how we were raised by the pioneer organization, the Komsomol organization. I can’t forget how in the summer we got up at the sound of the bugle at 6 o’clock and did exercises in the combined unit, published a newspaper, and staged concerts for our parents. Nobody asked us, but we ourselves went to clean the area where Sabantuy was supposed to be held. To make people happy!!! What do your mothers or grandmothers tell you? This is the same as a volunteer, a pioneer, a Komsomol organization. They all do the same thing, GOOD! We can talk about the volunteer movement as a phenomenon only taking into account that all volunteers are guided in their activities by one general principle of helping people! After all, the volunteer movement is based on a principle as old as time: if you want to feel like a human being, help another! Guys, who are you helping?

So, based on the seven basic principles of the volunteer movement, VOLUNTARY: We work around the clock, but we never take money; INDEPENDENCE: We are governed by needs, not kings; UNITY: We have many ideas, but one ideal; VERSATILITY: We respect nations, but cross borders to provide assistance; HUMANITY: We serve people, not systems; IMPARTIALITY: We care about victims, guilty and innocent; NEUTRAL: We take initiatives, but never take sides. let's create 3 groups: social group, environmental group, creative group. What types of activities will you do while working in these groups? Student performances. U. As we see, each group, while doing its work, tried to do a good deed. But as I already said, if people do not learn to help each other, then the human race will disappear from the face of the earth. Guys, respect your loved ones, help others, do not forget that a caring attitude towards adults and parents is a sign of a person’s high culture. And before I say goodbye, I would like to reveal your attitude to the topic of the class hour. If you enjoyed the class hour, join hands and join in the song, the anthem. The anthem plays, everyone sings the song while standing.
