Changes in OKVED in 2016

In practice, situations quite often arise when an entrepreneur indicated several OKVED codes during registration, but already in the process of work he realized that this was not enough for him. The legislation does not prohibit individual entrepreneurs from carrying out activities that were not declared during registration, but there are certain nuances in such work. Firstly, the absence of a specific activity code in the Unified State Register of Entrepreneurs will not allow an entrepreneur to use a special regime, for example, a patent, in its implementation. In addition, the possibility of using the simplified tax system depends on the main type of activity. Secondly, some companies, before concluding an agreement with a counterparty, check its documents and may refuse the transaction if this activity is not included in the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs.

An entrepreneur can include or exclude one or another type of activity an unlimited number of times, including the one that is declared as the main one, but each such change requires state registration.

To make changes to the individual entrepreneur, you must submit an application in form P24001 to the division of the tax service that carries out registration activities. State duty for opening an individual entrepreneur 2016

In 2016, the state size did not change and is equal to 800 rubles.

Take the data for paying the duty from your tax office where you register as an individual entrepreneur.   3. Sending by mail.Documents to the tax office for opening an individual entrepreneur can be sent by a valuable letter with a list of enclosed documents. Here it is also necessary to notarize the application and a photocopy of the passport before notarizing them.
  4. Submitting documents via the Internet. You can fill out the documents directly on the Internet and send them to the tax office website automatically; payment of the state duty also happens on the Internet. Click on the second item in the menu, which is called “State fee for registration of individual entrepreneurs”. It contains six sub-clauses. If we receive registration documents for the first time, we select the first or second item. The second is for those who complete the registration procedure through the MFC. In this example we will choose the first one.

Step two

Next, we proceed to filling out the payer’s data. It is mandatory to fill out here if the payment of the state duty will be made electronically. Otherwise, the field is not required. But it is still advisable to insert your TIN there.

Attention! There is no need to try to enter your address in the “Residence Address” field; this is done through a semi-automatic form, which can be accessed by clicking on the square with three dots in the same field.

Index— if you know the index of your place of registration, enter it, if not, then you don’t have to enter anything. In most cases, as they write themselves, this field should be filled in automatically.

As you can see, there is nothing complicated in generating a receipt through the Federal Tax Service service. However, if you have difficulty completing the form using this script, you can simply download a blank receipt form and, using the sample, fill it out in Word. Such a receipt for payment of the state duty for an individual entrepreneur will be quite equivalent to the one generated on the website of the tax service.

The last stage is clear - we go to the bank and make payment at the cash desk, according to the details indicated on the receipt. Part of this receipt with a note from the bank about payment will be given back to you. Here it is important to keep this so-called receipt for submission with the general package of documents when registering an individual entrepreneur with the tax service.

Stage 1: Preparation of data for individual entrepreneur registration

Before submitting documents for registration as an individual entrepreneur, you need to decide:

  • with the type of economic activity of the individual entrepreneur, choosing OKVED codes for individual entrepreneurs (All-Russian Classifier of Types of Economic Activities);
  • with the tax system.

The group of OKVED codes you have chosen includes the entire junior subgroup of codes. The code of the main group, and not all subgroups, is entered into the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs. There is no limit to the number of activity codes you can select.

To choose the right taxation system, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the Tax Code of the Russian Federation (Chapter 26.2).

Today there are two options for the taxation system. Namely:

  • general taxation system, which includes: VAT (value added tax), personal income tax (personal income tax) and property tax;
  • special taxation systems, which include: simplified taxation system (simplified taxation system), UTII (unified tax on imputed income), taxation system for the implementation of production sharing agreements and a single agricultural tax, patent taxation system.

The simplified taxation system involves the payment of one tax (instead of all of the above) while maintaining the current procedure for conducting cash transactions and the procedure for submitting reports.

An individual entrepreneur has the opportunity, during registration with the tax service, to submit an application for the application of the simplified tax system.

An individual entrepreneur has the right to switch to another taxation system by notifying the tax office in advance (but no later than January 15 of the year in which the transition to another tax regime is expected).

The simplified tax system has two options:

  1. Maximum rate 6% - tax base - income;
  2. The maximum rate is 15% - the tax base is income minus expenses.

To use the simplified taxation system for individual entrepreneurs, it is necessary that the entrepreneur’s staff does not exceed 100 people.

Stage 2: Documents required for individual entrepreneur registration

Once you have decided on the type of activity according to OKVED and decided which taxation system you will use, you can begin to prepare documents for registering an individual entrepreneur.

In accordance with the law, state registration of individual entrepreneurs in 2018 takes 3 working days. When opening an individual entrepreneur, a corresponding entry is made in the Unified State Register of Entrepreneurs.
