The magazine "Moscow" is one of the oldest "thick" literary and artistic magazines. Published since 1957. In 1966–1967 he published M. Bulgakov’s novel “The Master and Margarita”. In 1989–1990 - “History of the Russian State” by N.M. Karamzin. The magazine's policy is based on the magazine's fundamental non-involvement with any political forces and its Orthodox-state orientation. Today, against the backdrop of fruitless political improvisations, it is precisely this programmatic position that looks more serious and more thorough than the policies of many publications that hastened to “join” or “close ranks” with the political trends that arose in this darkest of times in Russian history. Our reader is a citizen of Russia of any nationality and religion, who has realized or has always known the rightness and morality of the existence of the Russian state with the name “Russia”.

Change

Detective stories, science fiction, action-packed novels, prose of modern authors, essays about great artists and the fate of the masterpieces they created, materials about bright, fateful events in Russian and world history, publications of the best but forgotten works of Russian prose, incredible and amazing facts and phenomena of the world around us .

The magazine "Russian Literature" is the first and only periodical publication in the country dedicated to the history of Russian literature at all stages of its development.

Its first issue was published in the spring of 1958. The journal was headed by V. G. Bazanov, a man of versatile knowledge and extensive interests, who was always at the center of scientific life and knew how to attract talented authors to cooperation. The editorial board included B. I. Bursov, A. S. Bushmin, V. E. Gusev, V. A. Desnitsky, V. A. Kovalev, D. S. Likhachev, F. Ya. Priyma, V. A. Rozhdestvensky, V.V. Timofeeva. The editorial board was formed at the same time. Yu. A. Andreev was appointed its executive secretary. In mid-1962 he was replaced by A. A. Gorelov. And from the spring of 1963, M.D. Kondratiev held this post for more than 40 years.

From the early days of its life, “Russian Literature,” taking into account the practice of previous academic and historical journalism, relied on the program of activities and scientific traditions of the Pushkin House, of which it was the printed organ. The breadth of coverage of the Russian literary past and the present, the variety of areas of research, the relevance and scale of the problems of the works published in it, the composition of the team of authors representing philological institutions and higher educational institutions of the country, the geography of distribution allowed the magazine to immediately acquire the character and significance of an all-Union one.

The publication also gains international recognition very quickly: foreign subscriptions to it are growing from year to year. Already by the beginning of the seventies, the magazine entered the university and private libraries of Russian scholars in 34 countries around the world.

The structure of the journal was basically formed by 1963. To the originally planned sections - “Articles”, “Materials and Communications”, “Chronicle of Scientific Life” - new ones were added: “Notes, clarifications”, “Reviews and reviews”; column “Controversy”, selection of publications “From the Scientific Heritage”. Interest in the problems of textual criticism and attribution led to the appearance of corresponding periodical collections.

Although the coverage of the main problems of the history of Russian literature is associated in the magazine, first of all, with its first section - “Articles”, the study of the literary process in all its complexity and completeness is greatly facilitated by the materials of all subsequent sections. Thus, in particular, the primary role of the journal is generally recognized in expanding the source study basis of our literary science (section “Materials and Communications”, later entitled “Publications and Communications”), in introducing the reader to a wide range of problems of domestic and foreign Russian studies (section “Reviews and Reviews”) "). Since the founding of the magazine, hundreds of books have been reviewed, representing different aspects of literary science, its different directions. The “Chronicle” section provides information about current scientific life - meetings, conferences, symposia, in the organization of which the Pushkin House took part.

From the end of 1968, for twenty years, V.V. Timofeeva was the permanent editor-in-chief of the magazine. Since 1988, N. N. Skatov, one of the country's leading researchers of Russian classical literature, has become this leader. At the same time, the editorial board is being significantly updated.

On the pages of the magazine, the reader continues to become acquainted with works devoted to folk art, literature of Old Russian and the 18th century, classical heritage, and literature of the modern period (XX century). Theoretical and historical-literary research continues to coexist with biographical and textual research, thematic headings related to the anniversaries of classic writers, critical reviews, polemics, attributions, and extensive information about current scientific life based on materials from numerous international conferences.

The history of “Russian literature” is part of the history of Russian literary science of the 20th century. Since its foundation, over six thousand works have been published on the pages of the magazine, which have become a kind of encyclopedia of domestic literary criticism. Together with the enormous work of hundreds of scientists, the immeasurable contribution to the history of the journal and the editorial staff (E. G. Ivanova, A. D. Kopysova, I. A. Lebedeva, Yu. K. Rybnikov), who for decades prepared the issues of the publication for publication .

"Interpoetry" - international poetry magazine, which has been published since 2004. The magazine is published in the USA and is published in electronic version on the “Magazine Hall”. We publish poetry, translations, short prose (“verse prose”), essays, interviews, discussions and reviews of new books.
Our magazine is poetry “above boundaries”, in the coordinates of time and space. Our times are lost in the crowd and loneliness in the global intercultural space, when poetry becomes the only way of communication between initiates. Poetry across borders and cultures. This is also an attempt to build an electronic bridge between the continents of two powerful linguistic and literary cultures: Russian and English. The Russian language, and with it poetry, lives and develops, like modern English, in different territories: in the metropolis, in the far and near abroad. Bringing poets and editors from different countries together under one heavenly roof will help to find a common poetic language.
It doesn’t matter what looks through the window at a thoughtful person: domes, a minaret, hills against the backdrop of the bottomless Mediterranean or the arc of McDonald’s, when the magic of Russian verse floats towards him from the computer screen.
