Subject: Fundamentals of human life safety in dangerous and emergency situations.
Goals and objectives: generalize students’ knowledge of the rules of behavior in extreme situations; teach to avoid and be able to prevent dangerous situations, cultivate the spirit of competition, accuracy and speed of answers; ensuring the personal safety of schoolchildren; rules of safe behavior on the streets and roads, traffic rules; possible causes of a fire: fire safety measures, rules of behavior in case of fire, use of fire extinguishing agents; basic rules for using household appliances and household chemicals; dangerous situations and precautions in crowded places; precautionary measures in the event of a threat of a terrorist act; summarize safe Internet rules for children.

The world in which we live is full of dangers - they lie in wait for a person everywhere, both at home and on vacation. Humanity has accumulated a wealth of experience in getting out of dangerous situations, and if we learn it, then, if we find ourselves in any life-threatening situation, we will be able to suppress fear in ourselves and act as circumstances require. It's no secret that the current social and environmental situation is causing concern among people all over the planet. We feel special concern for the most defenseless citizens - children. The task of libraries is to prepare them to face various difficult and sometimes dangerous life situations: raging elements, human cruelty, arrogance or irresponsibility.

As part of carrying out preventive measures on life safety, the prevention of any emergency situations and the prevention of neglect among schoolchildren in the city of Izobilny, the Central Library has prepared a series of exciting and educational events on the basics of life safety: a lesson on safe behavior “We need safety, safety is important to us”, educational - game program “Spark the carcass before the fire, avert trouble before the impact”, conversations with elements of the discussion “Dangers around us”, “Safety rules in certain life situations”, by visiting which the children received very important and useful information about the dangers associated with their place of stay a person at home, on the road and on the street, in nature and in communication with strangers.

All material is educational, informational, educational in nature and helps to form the foundations of life safety in children through solving problem situations, artistic expression and play.
Entertaining and educational games on traffic rules were held in the conversation section with elements of the game “Remember the traffic rules, like a multiplication table”: sprint competition “When we are pedestrians”, five-minute game “Pass the baton”, game test “More respect for traffic rules” ", musical and game competition "When we are passengers", interactive quiz game "Guess the road sign". The purpose of which was to warn children about the need to cross the roadway only when the traffic light is green. Attention was focused on the fact that a green light is not always a guarantee of safety. Children should know and understand the importance of visual control of the road situation.

Students took an active part in solving situational problems “How to avoid becoming a victim of a criminal,” where important topics of behavior when attacked or in an ambiguous situation were touched upon. It was imperative to convey to them the idea that there is no shame in defending yourself and calling for help, to explain to the children how to call for help correctly, what to shout and who is best to contact, so that passers-by would not perceive the call as a game or a whim. While discussing the topic of precautions in the house, about ill-wishers who might try to break into a house or apartment, about the dangers of conversations with strangers, the guys argued correctly, expressed their opinions and looked for ways out of problematic situations. As a result, we came to the general conclusion that you need to avoid deserted, poorly lit places in the evening, do not take money out of your wallet or pocket on the street, do not get into a car with an unfamiliar driver or into a taxi where there are already passengers, and in no case should you accept treats and enter into any conversations with strangers.

In today's world of busy parents, children often have to stay at home alone. Therefore, in the information message “Our helpers are electricity and gas,” the librarian drew the attention of schoolchildren to the need to follow instructions and safety measures when using the gas supply system, electrical appliances and household appliances, if their parents allow them to access it. She explained to the schoolchildren the consequences of careless handling, the sequence of actions in the event of an emergency, and how to protect themselves until adults or rescue services arrive.

To consolidate the material, the most memorable forms of work were used: the relay game “Electricity and Children” and the express quiz “Dangers Lurking for Us at Home.” The children learned about first aid measures in case someone was injured from the video of the film “How to Provide First Aid.”

A practical lesson “Walking around the city of good fire”, the program of which included a test - the game “To fight a fire skillfully, everyone needs to know fire science!”, an outdoor game - the “Brave Fireman” relay race and the competition “What if there is a fire in the house” to teach specific skills to extinguish an incipient fire and save themselves from fire and smoke, introduced children to fire safety rules at home and school.
The video excursion “Dangerous Reservoir” helped students develop strong skills and habits of safe behavior on reservoirs in an active, exciting way, consolidate practical actions in providing first aid to victims, and develop basic self-preservation skills. The finale of the meeting was “Fun Starts” and answers to questions in the mini quiz “How to behave correctly on the water.”

During the safety week, all possible cases of emergency situations were covered to the maximum, including an information minute “Your friend is the computer” about computer security and protection measures, the rules of which were introduced to the children in the video “Basic rules for a safe Internet or how to behave in networks." The librarian handed the participants a leaflet “On safe behavior on the Internet” with simple recommendations that will help prevent threats and make working on the Internet safe and useful.
In order to prevent extremism and terrorism, as well as to develop attitudes of tolerant consciousness among students, a slide conversation “How to behave in the event of a terrorist attack” was held. The materials presented to the participants included information about preventing terrorist attacks and teaching children the rules of behavior in the event of terrorist attacks. During the conversation, it became clear that young readers are concerned about the issues raised and need additional information on this topic.

Visual forms of information work are very popular in the library, which make it possible to attract users’ attention to problematic topics, reveal the collection and provide full access to information. For the participants of the event, a literature review was conducted at the book exhibition “Safety Every Day”, “Natural Environment and Human Security”, at which books and articles from periodicals on the stated topic were exhibited. Library life safety events became more spectacular with the use of the “Rules for Our Safety” slide presentation.

Our world is very difficult. And the dangers that await humans have become much greater than in the time of our grandparents. There is no need to be afraid of these dangers - you should be prepared for them! And we express the hope that in everyday life and on vacation the children will observe and apply all the knowledge acquired at events on safe living, and most importantly, take care of their health, because it is priceless, like our whole life!

Regardless of what industry the exhibition is in, it is a good environment for finding interesting information about the target audience, competitors' campaigns and other marketing information. Competitors will also conduct market research, so it is worth observing basics of information security.

In order to conduct research on the target audience, you need to use such tricks as:

  1. Exhibition participant survey;
  2. Conducting mass and expert surveys;
  3. Conducting a test of the product itself;
  4. Interview of potential clients.

The plan of events at the exhibition can be anything - it is arbitrarily drawn up by the managers of the exhibition project; in any case, the exhibitor must prepare a team of stand staff who study in advance all the nuances of the assortment being sold, the features of promotion, and the basics of information security.

If we consider some of the features of obtaining information on the B2B market, then testing is not always possible to enter; it is also worth taking into account the nuances of the market itself.

As a rule, promotions and testing take place at those exhibitions where there is a demonstration of the operation of equipment or software. An example would be an event in the mechanical engineering or IT sector, where a demonstration of the operation of various equipment takes place.

In addition to demonstrating products at such an exhibition, it would be appropriate to distribute POS materials - during distribution, you can conduct surveys and tests. Alternatively, handouts can be made in the form or depict professional gadgets.

For the IT market, the most popular media are flash drives, mouse pads or disks with demo programs taking into account the basics of information security. This approach to promoting and increasing brand awareness is reasonable.

It is best to conduct mass expert surveys not at the stand, but near it, so as not to block the passage, as unpleasant situations may arise with other stand participants. It must be remembered that the interviewed visitor must be rewarded after completing the survey.

The gift can be either a chocolate bar or an ordinary notepad, disk, flash drive, etc. You should not torment your guests with a large number of questions - this always begins to bore you, so there should not be more than 10 questions in the questionnaire. The time spent should be only a few minutes, the main thing is to find out the guest’s basic opinion, write down his data and give a valuable gift.

Questioning booth guests

During a conversation with a visitor, the booth attendant is required to fill out a form; this will help retain the contacts of a potential client who can be invited to the next exhibition. Be sure to write down all important aspects of the conversation, the guest’s opinion, desire, impressions of the brand.

As a rule, surveying potential clients at a stand is a rather long procedure, so, first of all, it is necessary to think about the seating in the negotiation area, as well as drinks that will make the visitor feel comfortable.

There should be leaflets on the table that will disclose information about the company. The visitor's questionnaire must contain all the information about the visitor - company name, position, phone number, address, as well as all points of interest, suitable price ranges.

All this data will be used in the future for marketing research. As a rule, many moments of an oral conversation are subsequently forgotten, it is for this reason that it is necessary to warn the visitor that the conversation will be recorded.

Having such a questionnaire with you, you can safely draw up an offer with all the client’s desires, as well as make preliminary calculations.

After the exhibition, a good step would be to send a letter of gratitude to the company; also, if an agreement was reached at the exhibition, then it would be appropriate to carry out pre-contractual work and conclude a contract. Also knowing the information of a potential client, you can arrange a meeting of the delegation at the production site, where you can clearly see the production capacity.

What should a stand attendant pay attention to?

A very important point is the preparation of the meeting place. Every visitor who approaches the stand is holding a lot of leaflets from the exhibition in their hands, which creates some discomfort. A seating area for negotiations should be considered.

If the company is going to transfer information to the client in printed form, then it is best to provide convenient folders that will contain a fixing element so that the leaflets do not fall apart; this is absolutely unacceptable. It is worthwhile to provide packages with the company’s brand, firstly, this is another way to proclaim your brand, and secondly, it will be very convenient for the visitor to put all the booklets there.

Exhibition of materials on the basics of life safety

Since January 26, 2016, the technical school library has been hosting an exhibition of literature for Life Safety Month. The exhibition consists of two sections. The first section, entitled “The World is Full of Threats,” presents educational and popular literature on the basics of life safety. The second section contains two parts under the general heading “Fundamentals of Life Safety”. It contains magazines containing relevant materials on the topics “The Earth will not survive the Second Chernobyl”, “Your world depends on your addiction”, “What trace will you leave”, “Ecology in you and around you”. A separate shelf displays thematically organized collections of materials from the magazines “Life Life. Fundamentals of life safety" and "Fundamentals of life safety". The topics of the collections cover issues of behavior during a terrorist attack, in crisis situations, providing assistance in emergency situations, in a criminogenic environment, survival in the wild, psychological safety when exposed to manipulators and the media, prevention of viral, bacterial and other infections, etc.

On February 1, the day the month of life safety began, the library reviewed the exhibition materials for the engineering and teaching staff by APT librarian T.N. Miroshnikova. In addition, the attention of the listeners was offered to more than 40 reminders about behavior in emergencies, provided by the head of the Civil Defense APT Ponomar V.M.
